About Us:
What is All Across Texas?
- All Across Texas is a program that serves as one source of information by providing engineering and computer science students with a direct link to paid internships across Texas
- All Across Texas also serves as a resource for statewide companies to market internship and job opportunities, link company web casts and industry videos, and list calendar events, activities and programs relative to engineering and computer science students
What is the catch? Why no cost?
- All Across Texas is made possible by grant funds provided by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) through the Wagner Peyser Act 7(b), which helps to provide benefits & services related to employment & training needs in the state of Texas
- This grant was given to the Texas Engineering and Technical Consortium (TETC) by TWC for the All Across Texas program
What is the purpose?
- Educate students on engineering and computer science degrees and future career opportunities
- Enhance student leadership development skills through special events, programs, web cast lectures and networking with industry professionals
- Provide a tool for companies across Texas to market existing internship programs
- Increase engineering and computer science graduates
- Increase engineering and technology workforce in Texas
How does a student qualify / who can participate in the All Across Texas internship program?
- Target age of student interns: 17-24
- Intern applicant must be a college student enrolled in a Texas college or university
- Required GPA: dependent on specific requirements of the company offering the internship
- Required courses / prerequisite courses: dependent on specific requirements of the company offering the internship

Can the internship be paid and at the same time for credit?
- All internships are paid positions
- Course credit hours are determined by the respective dean or professor

What time frames does each internship program offer?
- Spring, summer and fall internships are all available at various companies, including some one-year programs
What is required for a company to participate?
- Must have a paid internship program
- Must be located within the state of Texas
- If organizations have multiple locations nationwide, the placement of the intern must be at a location within the state of Texas
